Experienced boaters have relied on Lovett Pumps since 1952 to protect their investments. Models are available in 6, 12, 24 and 32 volts. Lovett Pumps meet USCG, ABYC and ISO standards. They are NMMA Type Accepted and can also have the CE mark. All of this is just one more assurance of the quality and reliability you can expect with a Lovett Pump, the worlds most reliable pump!
Patented Lovett Airlock
Unlike conventional types, Lovett submersible bilge pumps have no mechanical seals subject to wear, corrosion or potential failure. The patented (U.S. Patent No. 2,669,934) Lovett design employs the airlock principle demonstrated by the inverted tumbler in the illustration. The pump housing traps air, completely protecting electrical parts even when the pump is submerged in 29 feet of water.
Double-Insulated Transmission
Two belts running over phenolic pulleys transmit power from motor shaft to pump shaft. No stray current can be conducted from motor shaft to bilge water to cause electrolytic corrosion. The second belt is simply backup, more evidence of reliability. The pump shaft is Monel metal which resists saltwater corrosion better than stainless steel.
Positive Leveraged / Automatic Switch
A leverage system and wedge-type cam assure positive action in the automatic switching mechanism. The cam restricts float movement, preventing frequent short cycling of the pump in rough water. All switch bearing surfaces are metal-to-plastic, eliminating possible metal-to-metal corrosion. All moving switch parts are self-lubricated.
